Cryogenic IR-IR Photofragmentation Spectrometer
A modular mass spectrometer that extends traditional time-of-flight mass spectrometry with geometry data from vibrational spectroscopy through the use of two infrared lasers. Each cube can be assembled with a variety of ion guides, benders, mirrors, traps and detectors, depending on the demands of the experiments. These capabilities provide researchers with a flexible framework for fast prototyping and data surveys.

I design and manage cduong.me, a website built to present my productivity in scientific research, development, and technology. I also plan to incorporate the “hard won wisdom I have earned” (quoting my favorite musical) over the years as a first generation scientist, with the hopes that these lessons will inspire or help future innovators reach their aspirations.
